Just up-dating one of my suites, which means this nice Beach-suite will be leaving my dolls apartment :)

Make your choice Stardoll

I went to delete some hair-design stuff today and noticed something silly..

Notice the different choices I have.. One of them stands out..

"slet" is the Danish word for "delete", and there is it, having fun with three English words.

I play Stardoll on the Danish site/mode and lately I've been noticeing how more some words, tabs and more, have gotten English words.

Which is alright to some extend, considering that they're fired most of their national dolls.

But seriously? When you have to make a choice between four options, they shoud be in the same language..

In the old hair-design-studio it was all in Danish, so you aldrady have the words in your database Stardoll..

Just something silly I noticed today..

Saving up and challengeing yourself

Hi Dollies

I'm currently in the dire process of "Saving up on Stardoll"

It's much harder than you'd think, but I really wish to save up for a Luxury Suite , so that I may get an achievement and y'know, more (and bigger) rooms :D

I'm about 4/5 of the way there now..

It's getting reeeeeeally hard not to spend those damn SD's on jewlery and hair and stuff..

And I'm 90% sure, that had the Limited Re-Edition not been SS only, I'd be quite a bit porrer right now..

...

I should get back to studying again, that book on Evolution won't read itself..

...

On another note I'm thinking of challengeing myself  a bit (more).
I'm thinking of doing a month or so, where I dress my doll up as me.

My doll doesn't have the same clothes as me at all, so it'd be fun to see just how much (or little) we have in common.

Well, I do have an alternative style IRL (as others would describe it), but it is far from the same as my dolls.. Special.. Style..

Or maybe it'll turn out to be easy, since it would mostly be "basic" clothes, like pants, shirts and shoes?

Who knows, time will show - If I do decide to do it..

The ungratefull kids these days

Hi dollies, I'm afraid that I need to rage a bit.

As you're all well aware I've got a club on Stardoll called LadydiverStyles. It mostly persists of me, making some small, fun competitions with small prizes - Because it's not about the prize but about the creativity and fun side and the challenge.

One of my newest competitions is a competition with the theme "rainbow" where you can make what ever entry you wish, as long as it is rainbow-themed.

As the days has gone by, some users have entered, for which I am glad because I love to see how other people will interpret my competitions and come up with amasing and different ideas :)

One user chose to copy another users idea, exactely.

This is the scenery by the copy-cat. Notice that I am in no way attacking her person, but merely expressing my opponion on the act of copying another users' idea. This I find is my right, as it is my club and it is a competition, which I am hosting. If someone else had commented that, I would have accepted it aswell. It is not nice to copy others' ideas.

As I am a very forgiving person, I wrote a comment, that the copy-cat would be welcome to make a new entry, for she would have no chance of winning with an idea, which she had copied from another user.

This is the comment I left her. Should I say it myself, it's a neutral and fair comment.

As of now I would've expected her to reply something like "Oh sorry, I didn't know, I'll try and make a new entry" or "I will keep this entry"

But then today as I logg on to check on how things are going with LD (Ladydiver) as I do almost every day, I find this in my GB.

Offcourse I do my best to reply in a nice way, though I do not at all feel like being nice.

I gave the copy-cat a second chance, and this is the reply I get?

Offcourse I've replied to it, though SD-rules advise us not to reply to harrassing comment. I've only replied, because I still wish for her to understand, that I mean her no harm in any way.

- She is btw still welcome to make a new entry in my club.

The reasons why her name has not been blurred or anything from this post is:

1) It would be easy for any readers to find her anyway, since all this is still available in both my GB and club.

2) I don't have many readers anyway.

3) I'm not angry at her. This is not a hate-blog-post, this is a post of me expressing my oppinion on how ungratefull kids are these days.

Now, I'll get back to studying for my Evolutionary Biology exam.

UPDATE: The comment has now been deleted from my GB. I did not delete it and the copy-cat has not visited me since I replied. Maybe SD has got a new feature, which automaticly deletes any comments, which has been reported?
Yes I did report her, as it is my duty to report anything which breaks the rules of SD.

Spring-cleaning (Very very late spring-cleaning) at LD's

Hi dollies and others

I've decided to to a very late spring-cleaning (more like summer-cleaning, that just doesn't sound as good as spring-cleaning)

So along the way I'll be posting my old suites here in my blog, since I do not wish to loose them totally.

I'll keep some of my rooms because I just love them, but some are leaving.

This first room which is to be transformed is my Game Room.

I like the look of it because the rooms looks big and there's something to do in every corner of it without making the suite look to messy.

But the colours are very agressive and I'm just not in that kind of mood at the moment.

But here it'll stay forever as a memory of when I went nuts because the GameZone store was shutting down. I loved those items, they were different from the rest.

Quick How-To-Costume: Sandy from Grease

A quick How-To is where I simply show the outfit and write a few words.

A long time ago I made a look of my best SD-friend Sziszi92, where she's dresses as Sandy from Grease

Slim high-waist pants (here shorts have been added on top of the pants, to make the waist high)

A belt

A dark shirt, but brighter than the jacket, otherwise they'll blend together.

High heels

A jacket over the shoulders

And offcourse BIG CURLS

I mainly do SC-only outfits for my clients unless they ask me to "make it awesome no matter the price" - Which is the most awesome thing you can say to a stylist

P.S my exams are over soon and I'm very close to finishing a certain type of SD-videos.. CELEBRATIONS ARE NEAR!

How I deal with spammers..

Mostly I, as everyone else, just ignore spammers.

But when I have the time and mental ressources I decide to have fun with it..

Today someone wrote me and I couldn't help myself but tease him/her a little bit xD

I copied his/her message and replaced the text with my own words
(I'm currently running some competitions in my club LadydiverStyles, so the topic was obvious)

This was hillarious to me, funny enough he/she did not reply to me afterwards? ;)

Spammers, if you can't handle a bit of spam yourself (Even if it's just me, talking back at you, having a laugh), then don't spam. And if you're tough and CAN handle it? Well don't anyway, spammers are annoying.

Spamming doesn't leave a good first impression, so if you want friends, spamming isn't the way to get them

.. To be honest I WAS in the middle of changeing my outfit whilst I won this time..

I had just been Robin (Batmans sidekick - Why didn't I make a how-to for that costume?!) and was changing into some cyber-punk-metal-weird thing.. I love weird..

 It's surpriginsly easy to win NCG of Denmark, so easy that at one point I decided that I wanted to win the 4th every time.. Which is why I've got 4 NCG dates dated to the 4th (check my pres).. I eventually forgot about this and messed it up..

UH BTW: there's currently 2 competition in my club LadydiverStyles and more will be added because it's COMPETITION MONTH in my vlub.. WUHU.. Srsly, it's fun! :D I'm in a screw-saving-up-sc's-I-want-fun-instead kind mood..
